Defining SIP channels in sip.conf
Each SIP client and server is identified by a block of text that looks like:

[xxx]
type=yyy
parameter1=value
parameter2=value

Where xxx is the name associated with the SIP client, or is an arbitrary name used by other configuration files to refer to this SIP device. Typically if a SIP phone has an extension number of 123, then its corresponding entry in this file will begin with [123].

"[2299]" is the name of this extension, and should be the same as the username "type=friend" means that this device can both make and receive calls

Если у тебя 1 sip peers [1 online , 0 offline] - только один пир в онлайне, то кому ты пытаешься звонить?

конечно же себе. :) звонок проходит по второй линии. эт я просто вернул первоначальные конфиги, да бы не было шансов грешить на кривые руки. ради интереса завел тока что второй пир - эффект тот же.

Хоть какие-нибудь звонки ходили? На тестовые демо можешь позвонить? Эхотест? unixtime? Saydigits?
Если нет, то сильно криво собрано. Или не те permissions. Или не в том месте модули (see asterisk.conf). Или не хватает каких-то libs.

демо, Эхотест, unixtime, Saydigits - все говорят без проблем и ругани. если кодек преобразовывать не надо. т.е. в софтфоне выставляешь "gsm" - ок, alaw/ulaw - то же самое. сборка ALTLinux asterisk-1.3.0-alt4.10

Permissions? Были ли трудности при установке *? Содержимое asterisk.conf?
